Here are my latest observations on the updated firmware from Ibuygou.com
It appears that all the major bugs have been fixed and your team has been very responsive in making changes and communicating to users. The major issues which remain and which will limit the usefulness of the z1 in some eyes are:
Wifi is weak and this with the fact that 2.75 G is very slow is a problem for anyone used to a newer smartphone.
The touchscreen seems to have inconsistent sensitivity. Some functions like the keyboard are remarkable fast and sensitive while other functions seem impossible to make work without repeated touches. Slow and consistent would be better than erratic.
I suspect that the limited internal memory may be the cause of some erratic behavior when to many apps are running. Some better management of running apps might help and I need to look into apps that might help.
No home button is a real frustration. If there is some workaround for this it would be very beneficial.
There are many apps that are listed from the market as incompatible with the phone. I have worked around many of them by loading up older versions from the froyo era. It might be good to encourage users to report on things they find will work and share apk's like you do with Facebook, etc. For example play books from google will not work but an older version of google books (the precursor) works just fine. The same is true with swift key keyboard, and xda developers. Fortunately I have kept all the lot apps from other older phones and have them to experiment with.
The auto rotate function does not seem to work and there are some apps like google sky which will not place the screen in the proper orientation to work. Im not sure if this is fixable.
this is enough for now I'll continue to give you feedback as I discover things
