Most of our Xiaomi reviews noted the destination country's custom problems, the customs situation differs from country to country. Usually, we put much less declared value like 30USD on the parcel, and pack the phone parcel as a gift and named it as a gift as well to avoid customs fees for all our customers.  Heard from our EU, Middle East, South America, Turkish customers ( Rigid custom controls in these countries), most of them  are lucky to pay Zero taxes for the parcel imported via DHL and EMS delivery.
